Dinner with Art in Ostend, Belgium
The city of Ostend in the Flanders region of Belgium has rolled out a year long promotion of exclusive art in collaboration with some of its best restaurants which allows the public to dine and collect a series of 12 differently designed exclusive charger plates.
Designed by a number of international artists, restaurant goers have a year to build up their unique collection which they take home after dinner in 12 of Ostend’s premier restaurants.
Each of the participating restaurants has a specific 4-course menu (priced between 80 and 98 euros) which entitles customers to the charger plate offer. Regular restaurant goers choose one particular design to build up their collection of 6 or 8 plates, others choose to collect different designs.
The scheme has proven to be popular with the Ostend restaurants and an added bonus to their customers who want to take away a little memento of their delicious meal.
Special ‘Dinner with Art’ package deals with an overnight stay can also be booked.
