The Delicious Taste of the Rare Patagonian Toothfish
The Fireplace at Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove in Queensland, Australia is welcoming the new season with the inclusion in its menu of the delicious and very rare Patagonian Toothfish.
Sourced from the waters of the Antarctic Ocean, Patagonian Toothfish is considered one of the tastiest fish you can buy. Offering an abundance of white meat with no pin bones, this luxury fish also produces a high content of Omega-3 oils, making it the perfect choice for the health conscious.
Executive Chef Sheldon Tan who has cooked this delicacy before says he chose this fish for it’s fine quality and because it is not widely used in Australia. He said:
Having Patagonian Toothfish as a feature on our menu gives our chefs the opportunity to broaden their product knowledge and skills, while offering guests the opportunity to experience a delicious fish that is not widely available in our country.
This tasty and very much sought after delicacy will be available in a variety of dishes throughout the month of September and each dish will be perfectly matched with a fine selection of Chapel Hill wines to completely complement the extraordinary flavours of this fish.
Dishes for the month include Honey glazed Patagonian Toothfish with cherry tomato vinaigrette, slow roasted Patagonian Toothfish with nicoise salad and herb citrus oil and Patagonian Toothfish on apple potato cake with caramelized fennel and fresh lemon.
The Fireplace a la carte menu will still be available throughout the month and bookings at The Fireplace are essential. For more information visit the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove website.
