Charles Campion is an award-winning food writer and restaurant reviewer. He is a past winner of the Glenfiddich Restaurant Writer of the Year award, and has written about restaurants in the London Evening Standard for over a decade.

He also contributes to many radio and TV food programmes, as well as a long list of magazines. He’s recently starred on the panels for BBC2’s Eating with the Enemy and ITV’s Britain’s Best Dish and is a regular on MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef.

He appears regularly on BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme and BBC Radio 5 Live. He has also written a number of cookery books. Before becoming a food writer, Charles worked in a succession of London ad agencies and had a spell as chef-proprietor of a hotel and restaurant in darkest Derbyshire.
