The city of Ostend in the Flanders region of Belgium has rolled out a year long promotion of exclusive art in collaboration with some of its best restaurants which allows the public to dine and collect a series of 12 differently designed exclusive charger plates. Designed by a number of international artists, restaurant goers have a year to build up their unique collection which they take home after dinner in 12 of Ostend’s premier restaurants.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Jenever Museum (Gin Museum) in Hasselt, the largest jenever-bar in Belgium is due to be built during the 8th Jenever Festivities on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October 2007.
