Equine Adventures in French Wine Country, Summer 2008

Saddle up and head out into an ancient land of forest, meadows and valleys, following trails through spectacular countryside during a centre-based holiday in the Dordogne. Alternatively, ride through the vineyards of Bordeaux, sampling the finest regional wines and savouring local gourmet meals en route. Equine Adventures offer two unique French riding holidays combining a love of wine and all things equine in equal measure.

Visit a Vineyard During Welsh Wine Week (24 May – 6 June)

Welsh Wine Week aims to spark interest in Wales’ wine producers and vineyards across the country will be offering tastings, tours, and special promotions in order to show the quality of Welsh wine. There are now more than 20 vineyards in Wales producing around 100,000 bottles of wine each year. The majority is white, but red and rose wines are on the increase as well as sparkling white varieties made by the Champagne method.
